Moving Through the Land: A Salon Gathering

Ideas on Nature and Community from City to Country

How can we pay greater attention to the living land around us?
Atelier Gardens welcomes you to a special salon gathering led by Barbora Kinkalova (PILGRIM – The Wandering University of Nature, Prague), David Rothenberg (of Nightingales in Berlin), and Benjamin Rodrigues Kafka (Vision, Community and Partnerships Director, Atelier Gardens).

Together with a select group of artists and thinkers, we will explore how walking, listening, conversation, and attentive presence can deepen our connection to place.
The evening will feature short, 15-minute talks by participants and excerpts from selected films, followed by a celebratory feast.

A Deep Time Walk

Led by Barbora Kinkalová & Andreas Weber

Continue the journey of exploration the next day with a Deep Time Walk: a guided experience through Earth’s 4.6-billion-year history, told through movement, story, and reflection. This walk invites participants to slow down, listen, and reconnect with the deep memory of the Earth – tracing the vast story of life beneath our feet.

The transformative experience offers a space to reflect on the climate emergency and to deepen our relationship with the more-than-human world.
