Shared Scapes invites you to our second event — the first edition of Sonic Pages: Reading Through Listening. An evening of collective reading, ambient sound, conversation, and sunset on the terrace of Atelier Gardens with a view on Tempelhofer Feld.

Reading Through Listening is an invitation to slow down and experience reading differently — not as a solitary activity, but as something shared. Bring a book that has been waiting for you, put your phone away, and settle into a collective space where reading and listening happen together.

We’ll begin at 17:00 with a live ambient set by yuriiboiko, creating soft and open sonic textures for a 40–50 minute collective reading session. You are welcome to bring your own book – prose, poetry, essays, novels, or anything else you would like to read.

After the reading, Arsen Malaschuk will moderate a relaxed conversation about what we read and how it felt to read together, surrounded by sound and other readers.

We’ll then transition into a live performance that weaves together sympathetic string resonances, synths, voice, and a small selection of field recordings, by Loris Foti – a chance to unwind, listen, talk, and enjoy the sunset over Tempelhofer Feld.
