What if our benchmark were not economic growth, but the common good? What if we leave behind the image of humanity as the selfish homo oeconomicus? What if we no longer see ourselves as separate from “nature” and address the causes of the crises of our time where they arise: in our thinking?

As part of Global Donut Days 2025, we invite you to an interactive evening called “We Go Deeper.” Together with re.finn, Karma Capital, and Atelier Gardens, we want to make old economic beliefs visible, question them, let go, and unleash new narratives for a regenerative economy with you on October 16th from 7 p.m. in the Atelier Gardens.

The doors will be open from 6:30 p.m. for a tour of an interactive installation that invites reflection and exchange about old thought patterns and new perspectives. Afterwards, we’ll dive into the “Donut Bowl” – a dynamic fishbowl format in which thought leaders will share their concrete work with new beliefs: Which beliefs have they transformed and how they successfully implement new thinking within old structures. Here you have the opportunity to join the discussion and become part of the conversation.

Afterwards, we’ll end the evening with snacks, drinks, and networking.

We look forward to an interactive networking evening with visionaries, practitioners, and designers of a regenerative economy, and all those who not only demand transformation but actively shape it: including you!

Your team from Donut Berlin, re:finn, Karma Capital, and Atelier Gardens

Donut Berlin e.V.: This isn’t about sweet pastries, but about a major shift in thinking: we all do business! And we can shape it so that it focuses on the well-being of people and nature. This is what we are committed to as ambassadors of the donut economy. We examine economic activity from a systemic perspective to determine whether it promotes “the good life for all within planetary boundaries”: Is it regenerative and equitable? Is it independent of growth and considers the bigger picture? If not, we need to redesign it—let’s get started!

Karma Capital is convinced that the economy and capital markets do not follow immutable laws of nature, but are human-created systems—and can therefore be rethought and redesigned. As a systemic investor, Karma Capital seeks to challenge beliefs such as profit maximization as the ultimate goal and instead create a new capital market that is regenerative, respects planetary boundaries, and serves the common good.

re:finn: Together in a regenerative economy. We work with people, teams, and leaders who are willing to explore new paths. We shape transformation through deeper relationships with ourselves, each other, and the living world.

Atelier Gardens: The motto “Celebrating Soul, Soil, Society” represents our goal of contributing to a regenerative urban life with holistic approaches. We are convinced that through regenerative practices that foster connection with oneself, nature, and others, it is possible for everyone to live in a way that is fit for our grandchildren.
