A public discussion event on the topic of sanitary and nutrient transitions
with input presentations and an excursion to the Gardens’ sanitation facilities

This WiA (Women in Architecture) contribution focuses on the waterless bathroom of the German Pavilion “Open for Maintenance” at the 2023 Architecture Biennale in Venice.

We will discuss spatial-architectural opportunities, questions of inclusion, and circular material flow management — with a focus on justice, diversity, and social participation.
